Silver, openwork earrings from my collection inspired by a language created by J.R.R. Tolkien ("Lord of the rings") as Grey Elves' language, called Sindarin. Each piece is my interpretation of a word from this elven language. This one is "Ithil" which means "the Moon".
First these earrings were carefully designed and hand sculpted by me. Then made in sterling silver and adorned with moonstones. Beautifully romantic, full of amazing, tiny details. Every single element placed there with care and love. Oxidized and polished.
Length of the moon - 3.7 cm (1.33 in), its width 2.5 cm (1 in). Total lentgh of there earrings, including earwires: 4.9 cm (1.92 in) (version from first photos) or 6.2 cm (2.44 in) - in case of the earwires from the last photo (let me know which one you prefer, when placing the order).
One earrings weighs 3.7 g, so they are surprisingly lightweight.
If you have any questions please ask. If you would like to have earrings like these, but with a different stone - let me know.
My jewellery is a tribute to Mother Nature's beautiful creations. Just look around - all this amazing abundance of forms and textures - so strikingly beautiful and inspiring. I try to convey this feeling of awe over Nature's creations into my jewellery. Thank you for looking at my pieces :-).
