Detailed, openwork pendant, hand carved by me and then made in sterling silver, adorned with a tiny oak leaves, acorns, vines and a lovely topaz mystic, shimmering with shades of purple, teal, blue and green, matched with a little bit of colorful patina. It is a part of my collection of symbols celebrating our connection with Nature. Oxidized and polished.
The meaning of triskele is complex and very multidimensional. It can be related to the "Three Realms" - Land, Sea and Sky, or for one of a number of deities who are described as "threefold" or triadic. It can stand for any of the beautiful druidic triads - wisdom sayings in three parts - or other triplicities in cosmology and theology. It's often associated with the god Manannán mac Lir.
Diameter of this pendant is 3.2 cm (1.25 in), total length (including articulated, carved bail) is 4.4 cm (1.73 in). The size of this piece can be also seen in the photo with the model. This pendant can be also made with different stones and with different patinas than that listed here. If you have any questions, please ask. The pendant comes with a vegan cord.
