"Dragon's tale" is an amazingly detailed, openwork dragon pendant, carefully designed, hand carved by me and then made in sterling silver. Adorned with an amazing, deep red garnet (6 mm). Elements of this little, wearable sculpture are gold plated with yellow gold. It is a part of my collection celebrating ancient myths, legends and folklore.
Total length (including carved, articulated bail) is 5.4 cm (2.12 in). The dragon itself is just 4.5 cm (1.77 in) - it is not too big. It's width in the widest place is 3 cm (1.18 in). You'll be amazed by how subtle and fantastically detailed this piece is.

Dragons are present in myths and legends all over the world. They are always mighty, fierce, impressive creatures, often guarding treasures or... secrets. In some stories they are mischievious, deceiving, but always very intelligent. A dragon can be a very complex symbol. For me it tells a story about strength, hidden treasures and inner fire that we need to discover, rekindle or sustain.
I sculpted my dragon in a very dynamic pose. He is guarding his magical treasure, protecting it from unexpected visitors. At the back of the pendant, inside dragon's belly you will find a small, symbolic flame - our inner fire.

This pendant is oxidized and polished to create nice contrast between dark and light silver. This kind of finish has a very special, mysterious feel.
My jewellery is a tribute to Mother Nature's beautiful creations. Just look around - all this amazing abundance of forms and textures - so strikingly beautiful and inspiring. I try to convey this feeling of awe over Nature's creations into my jewellery. Thank you for looking at my pieces.
