Three Realms triskele

Three Realms triskele

+7

Unbelievably detailed, openwork pendant, hand carved by me and then made in sterling silver, adorned with tiniest motifs, creatures and 4 mm teal tourmaline or other stone of your choice (available stones are visible in one of the photos - please choose from the list while placing your order) . It is a part of my collection of symbols celebrating our connection with Nature. Oxidized and polished.

The meaning of triskele / triskel or triskelion is complex and very multidimensional. It can be related to the "Three Realms" - Land, Sea and Sky and this is what you see in this pendant. It was inspired by Irish Mayo county but is a symbol of every single place on our amazing, living planet. In the Land part there are famous rolling hills, a menhir and an Old Irish Goat (fantastic creatures which arrived in Ireland with the Neolithic people). In the water section you can find stormy waves, a hidden Eurasian otter and fish. Sky section shows a bird in flight, air currents, Sun, Moon and stars.
Triskele can also stand for any of the beautiful druidic triads - wisdom sayings in three parts - or other triplicities in cosmology and theology.

Diameter of this pendant is 3.2 cm (1.25 in), total length (including articulated, carved bail) is 4.2 cm (1.65 in). This pendant can be also made with different stones than those listed here. If you have any questions, please ask. The pendant comes with a vegan cord. This piece is based on my original artwork - all rights reserved. All hand sculpted. No 3D printing, no AI.
